Mary Baldwin offers enough campus events and activities to provide year-round entertainment. But the eclectic personality of the city of Staunton and the beauty of the surrounding Shenandoah Valley provide opportunities worth exploring.
Don’t think life is ever dull here. Downtown has a strong music scene – rock, blues, jazz, and acoustic. It also has theatre, both community and professional. There are wonderful coffee shops and good ethnic restaurants. Staunton is surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers. Sometimes there seems to be too much going on!
