Majors & Minors
A Mary Baldwin College education is personalized,
comprehensive, and transforming.
With over 40 majors and minors, you can pursue your
passions using the heart of the liberal arts approach: mastery of a body
of knowledge, learning to think creatively, making connections, and analyzing
information.
Distinctive majors at Mary Baldwin allow you to
- Choose and pursue your major with the support of a full-time faculty
advisor
- Participate in community service learning
- Study abroad
- Conduct original research
You can also design your own interdisciplinary major by bringing elements
from several subjects together with the guidance of your faculty advisor.
Whatever
your chosen course of study, it will have an emphasis on experiential learning — putting
what you learn into practice and engaging beyond the classroom in community
service, internships, and field projects.
At Mary Baldwin, we work with you to tailor your major, along with your
whole college experience, so you can become your best possible self.
