Early Admission

For the academically exceptional student who wishes to enter college after completing the 11th grade, Mary Baldwin offers the Early Admission Plan. Your records, giving evidence of exceptional scholastic ability as well as emotional stability and social maturity, must indicate that you would profit by undertaking college work sooner than most college-bound students.

Candidates are expected to complete all requirements of regular admission to the freshman class. In addition, Early Admission candidates and their parents should be interviewed on campus by the Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid or the Communications and Resource Manager. Candidates must also submit a formal agreement for admission from their high school official.
