What activities are you involved in at MBC?
I’m a theatre fan, so I like to be involved in all the productions and attend them all.

What are your passions?
My passions are theatre, creative writing, Ultimate Frisbee™, Red vs. Blue, and having fun with my roommate!

What makes you an MBC woman?
I am passionate, motivated, and ready to climb those stairs any day!

What do you like best about Mary Baldwin?
The wide variety of students makes it an interesting and engaging place to learn. Having regular students plus VWILs, PEGs, ADPs and exchange students makes MBC unique!

What are your career ambitions?
I’m interested in acting, directing, screen-writing, and creative writing.

What phrase best describes your life here?
Having the time of my life!

How have your goals, dreams, or directions changed since coming to Mary Baldwin?
My dreams have become more focused and, therefore, closer to reality.

What is the benefit of an all women’s college?
At MBC, everyone is your sister. Everyone can relate to you, and you feel comfortable being yourself. Having no guys around really just makes life easier because you feel less self-conscious and uptight.

What do you like to do at Mary Baldwin?
I like to take long walks, hang out in the residence halls with my friends, go to all the plays, and attend lectures and recitals.

What will you take with you?
I will take the experience of being in a supportive learning atmosphere where you are free to explore your interests.

What have been some challenges?
It has been challenging for me to set routines, as far as studying and sleeping. Homesickness also is a challenge!

If you had the decision to make again, would you choose a women’s college? Mary Baldwin? Why?
I would still choose a women’s college because the sense of freedom is such a liberating feeling.

What advice would you give to new students?
My advice is to come prepared as much as you can. Also, take everything day by day.
