What do you like best about Mary Baldwin? There’s a place for everyone. All you have to do is get involved. In the process, you learn something about yourself and make a lot of great friends!

What has been an important event? Charter Day my freshman year is when I realized that I was officially a part of the Mary Baldwin community. I had signed the Honor Pledge and strongly felt the connection with my fellow students.

What phrase best describes your life here? Be the change you wish to see.

How have your goals changed since coming to Mary Baldwin? Originally I wanted to practice medicine and help in Third World countries. MBC has broadened my perspective, and I have learned to see my own potential. I better understand the impact I can have, not just as a physician but as a leader.

What has most surprised you about college? The amount you learn is tremendous! It’s not just in class — in some ways I have learned more outside class. MBC has helped me grow to become a more strong, confident, and independent woman.
