The Mary Baldwin College Richmond Regional Center

Mary Baldwin College Richmond Regional Center currently offers classes in the Adult Degree Program and the Master of Arts in Teaching Program.

Adult Degree Program

Begun over 20 years ago, the Mary Baldwin College Adult Degree Program was originally designed for former Mary Baldwin students who did not complete their degrees. Today, the program is open to both women and men who want to complete their college education and earn a liberal arts bachelor of arts or bachelor of science degree. The Adult Degree Program adheres to the same requirements and high standards as Mary Baldwin's traditional program. The Richmond Regional Center currently serves over 250 Adult Degree Program students.

Master of Arts in Teaching Program

The Master of Arts in Teaching Program is designed to offer preparation for or enrichment of classroom teaching through a balanced program of liberal arts and professional studies. All courses focus on inquiry - the processes by which students and teachers ask questions, study, and learn about human experience. The program is designed to accommodate both advanced study for currently practicing teachers and fulfillment of requirements for K-8 teacher licensure.
