Roanoke Directions and Parking

The Roanoke Higher Education Center is housed in the renovated Norfolk & Western Railroad building at 108 North Jefferson Street, next to the Hotel Roanoke.   

From 581 heading South:
Take Exit 5.
Turn right onto Wells Ave.
Proceed past The Hotel Roanoke.
Cross Jefferson Street.
Take next left onto Jordan Alley, which leads into the RHEC parking lot.

From 220/581 heading North:
Take Exit 4E, turn right onto Williamson Road.
Proceed south to Wells Ave.,and turn right onto Wells.
Proceed past The Hotel Roanoke.
Cross Jefferson Street.
Take next left onto Jordan Alley, which leads into the RHEC parking lot.

Parking:

There is a parking lot and a parking garage on the west side of the Center.  For parking rate information, with maps, visit the Roanoke Higher Education Center website.

There is some free on-street parking, but parking regulations are strictly enforced, so read signs carefully.

Finding us:

The offices and classrooms of Mary Baldwin College are on the 8th floor of the Roanoke Higher Education Center, in Suite 816. 

**Please note that there are four elevators.  Only the two on the left go all the way to the 8th floor. The two on the right stop on the seventh floor
