Instructors' deadline to turn in Summer '08 grades to ADP Central Office. |

Summer '08 grade reports mailed to students. |
Fall Semester '08
| Aug. 29 | Last day of online registration for Fall '08 courses. |
| Sept. 1 | First day of Fall '08 Staunton campus classes. Financial aid students must be registered for Fall '08 courses. Failure to meet this deadline may endanger students' financial aid status. Contact the Financial Aid Office for details. Special student registration opens for Fall '08 on-campus courses. |
| Sept. 1 - Sept. 5 | Add/Drop period for Fall '08 courses. Students may drop a course and receive a full refund. |
| Oct. 1 | Students' deadline to drop a fall course and receive a partial
refund. Application for Graduation deadline for January '09 graduation. Apple Day. No classes on Staunton campus. |
| Oct. 2 | Founders Day. |
| Oct. 10 | Instructors' deadline to submit Spring '09 course information to ADP Central Office. |
| Oct. 18 - 21 | Fall Break. Faculty may not be in their offices. |
| Oct. 22 | Classes on Staunton campus resume. |
| Oct. 28 | Last day to withdraw from all coursework for the Fall '08 semester. Pro rata refund policy applies. |
| Oct. 29 | Deadline to change grading option for Fall '08 courses. Deadline to withdraw from a Fall '08 course. Students will not receive a refund. |
| Nov. 10 | Online Registration period for Spring '09 courses. Students
may still register by paper. Note: Students register by classification. For details please check the Registration Instructions. Instructors' deadline to submit spring course syllabi to ADP Central Office. |
| Nov. 26 - 30 | Thanksgiving Break. Faculty may not be in their offices. Offices closed Nov. 27 & 28. |
| Dec. 1 | Classes on Staunton campus resume. |
| Dec. 5 | Last day of Fall '08 Staunton campus classes. |
| Dec. 8 - 12 | Final exam week for Staunton campus classes. |
| Dec. 12 | Last day of ADP Fall '08 courses. Students' deadline to send remaining Fall '08 work to instructors. Faculty are not required to accept work after this date. Students' deadline to send ET forms to advisors. ET's will extend fall work to May 19, 2009. |
| Dec. 13 - Jan. 11 | Winter Break. Faculty may not be in their offices. ADP office holiday schedule TBA. |
| Dec. 19 | Instructors' deadline to turn in Fall '08 grades to ADP Central Office. |
| Dec. 22 | Fall '08 grade reports mailed to students. |
