Hunt Gallery Current Exhibits

Located in the lower east wing of Hunt Dining Hall, Hunt Gallery presents five professional exhibitions each academic year. The gallery is dedicated to the exhibition of contemporary work by professional artists of emerging or established regional or national/international reputation, seeking to exhibit work that reflects a wide variety of media and artistic intentions. Student work is shown towards the end of each semester and during May Term. All exhibits are free and open to the public. Music

Broman and Sunday Recital Season Schedule

Since 1979, the Carl Broman Concerts have brought professional musicians to the MBC campus. On Sundays during the academic year, the Sunday Recital Series features the talents of MBC professors and guest artists. Student groups include the Mary Baldwin College Choir as well as more specialized groups including Baldwin Charm (a cappella pop songs), Anointed Voices of Praise (traditional and contemporary gospel music), and Madrigal Singers (a cappella madrigal and chamber music). Fletcher Collins Theatre Season Schedule

MLitt/MFA Events

The Fletcher Collins Theatre, located on the bottom floor of the Deming Fine Arts Center, plays host to five or more student productions a year. This versatile and intimate black box theatre hosts dramas, comedies, experimental plays, and at least one musical per academic year. Community Dance Events

Dance at Mary Baldwin offers students and the community a variety of opportunities. MBC sponsors guest artists to teach dance workshops, as well as holds regular dances open to all. Students stay active with the MBC Dance Company, MBC Performing Dance Group, and Greater Things Dance Ministry.
