Community Dance Events

  • The community Staunton Contra Dances are held the third Saturday every month (unless otherwise noted). Tickets are $8 person, $4 for teens, children, and students, MBC students with student ID are free. The dates are:

    • April 16 - Shake It For Shakespeare Contra
    • May 21 - Graduate Celebration Contra

  • The Embassy Ball: 7 p.m., Saturday April 2
    Hosted by the Ticknor English Country Dancers & the Mary Baldwin College Performing Dance Group
    Physical Activity Center • Music by Nonesuch
    Period or formal attire requested • Refreshments provided
    Advance reservations only, accepted until March 30, Adults $30, Students $15.
