The Fighting Squirrels returned to action against Methodist University after Christmas Break.

The Squirrels started off the game a bit sluggish, and fell behind early. The Squirrels would battle tough, and cut the lead to 40-42 gaining good momentum for the second half.

Baldwin would battle early in the second, keeping it close for
the opening minutes. The Monarchs would pressure the
Squirrels into turnovers that were converted to points to build
a large lead that was cut to 78-88 for the final score.

Jennifer Dobson led the team with 16 points, Christie Hamilton
added 12 points and 8 rebounds, Iiesha Ricks, Deja Budd and
Sabrina Desper all had 11 points.

The Squirrels are back in action against Greensboro tomorrow
at 2pm.
