1/21 Basketball Suffers 46-60 Loss vs Shenandoah

MBC returned home for a tough contest vs the Hornets of Shenandoah. The Squirrels were looking for their second conference win of the season.

The Squirrels came out strong and showed an even performance early in the first half, leading 10-9 with 13:54 left in the half. The Hornets would take a one point lead with 4:24, and build a 9 point lead to close out the half.

The Squirrels would come out cold for the first five minutes of
the half and allow the Hornets to build a 15 point lead. Jennifer
Dobson would cut the lead to eight with 8:01 to play, but the
Squirrels would get no closer.

Christie Hamilton led the team with 12 points and Jennifer Dobson
had 10 points. Kara Hawkins grabbed 11 rebounds and added
4 points points.

The Squirrels are on the road vs Methodist on 1/24 for a 2pm start.
