Mary Baldwin finished second in the USA South Cross Country Championships last year. Returning runners and incoming freshman report a good summer of running, and all runners look forward to setting PR’s this season.
Returning from last season are Holly Breen and Kathryn Stephens who were 2nd team all conference runners in 2007. Christian Romeo returns from last season as well. Kristen Messina and Christina Diette return this year after a year’s lay off. Kristen has recovered from an injury, and should be a scorer for the team. Rosa Moran was hooked on running in the spring and hopes improve as a runner and racer.

She had a strong senior season finishing 3rd in the Delaney Athletic Conference. Stephanie Reed hails from Mayde Creek High School in Houston Texas. Her PR is 20:58 for the 5K and is a two time qualifier in the Division III Texas Region. New runner Elizabeth Drummond also will be coming out for the team.
