9/27 MBC Soccer Drops Both in USA South Weekend

9/26 The Squirrels opened up USA South play against the Pride of Greensboro. The Pride jumped out to an early lead and the Squirrels ended the half down 0-7. The Pride held the Squirrels scoreless in the game and earned another 4 goals in the second half to make the final score 0-11 in favor of the Pride. Erica Gaughan saw 29 shots and stopped 13 of them in the match. [Box]

9/27 Versus the Monarchs Soccer team, MBC played a long first half and gave up 7 goals to Methodist. The Squirrels held strong until late in the second half when #9 Kate Ramsay hit a pretty goal into the upper right corner from thirty yards out from the left side of the field to seal the deal 0-8 in favor of the Monarchs. Erica Gaughan had 17 saves and faced 25 shots on goal. [Box]
