9/21 Soccer Lost to Southern Virginia

 

The Squirrels traveled to Southern Virginia to compete in a non-conference match against the Knights. MBC would not be able to contain the offense and ball control of the Knights in this contest. The Knights got off to an early goal and continued to score in the first half. As the teams ended the half, MBC was down 0-8. The Knights would get and early goal in the second half and hold on to their 0-9 victory. Erica Gaughan returned to action and faced 28 shots from the Knights in the contest. The Squirrels are back in action on Saturday at home for USA South opening action.
