The Squirrels played another USA South Opponent, the Pride of Greensboro. The Squirrels got in game 1 before the rain hit.

MBC pitching struggled to get runners out and the defense struggled to make consistent plays. The Pride scored all of the runs in Game 1 and won 0-21

The rain hit and MBC made a strong showing early on defense and kept the score 0-1 in the first. Garika Williams would homer in the bottom of the 2nd for the Squirrels first run, and Christie Hamilton would drive in 2 runs with her second double of the game, as the Squirrels found themselved down 3-7 after 2. That would be all the scoring the Squirrels could put together as MBC fell 3-21. [Box1] [Box2]

The Squirrels are scheduled for action tomorrow vs Catholic, but details will be posted due to possible chance of rain.
