3/29 Squirrels lose 2 games, 0-8 and 0-1 vs Greensboro Pride

MBC traveled to Greensboro, NC to battle the Pride of Greensboro College. The Pride enter the games 5th in the USA South.

The Squirrels didn’t get any runs in this one, and faced some solid pitching from the Prides Olivia McPherson. MBC gave up 4 runs in the 1st and 4 the rest of the game making the final score 0-8. [Box1]

Game 2
The Squirrels played tough in this one. The Pride scored their run in the bottom of the 6th and the Squirrels had a chance to answer in the top of the 7th. Amber Ralston threw an excellent 6 innings in the 0-1 loss. The Squirrels are back on the road to Sweet Briar College tomorrow. Game time is 1pm. [Box2]
