Ralston went 4-6
4/8 Squirrels in it early, Fizzle Out in 2 Game Loss.

MBC looked solid early and held strong for the first portion of Game 1. The Squirrels gave up an early run but, got it right back in the Bottom of the first. Karen Potter started things off with a Double that she tried to stretch for 3 bases and was called out at 3rd. Brown and Williams hit back to back singles to put runners on. Carolyn Majchszak drove in the run to tie the game.

Senior Karen Potter scored the second run from a walk drawn by Majchszak. Majchszak and Ralston went 2-3 in the game and Potter was 2-4 with a run scored. Jessicca Brown went 1-2 and drew 2 walks in the 11-2 loss against the Quakers in Game 1. [Box1]

Game 2

The Quakers jumped out early in this game and got 3 runs in the first inning. The Squirrels would answer right back again and get three runs in the bottom of the 1st. With the bases loaded, Christie Hamilton drove in two runs on a double, bringing in Kristina Jones and Jessicca Brown. MBC got their third run of the inning off a wild pitch to bring in Potter. The Quakers would score 3 in the third and 4 in the 5th. The Squirrels had their chances to score in the 5th and 6th but stranded 3 runners each inning, finishing the game 3-10. MBC is back in action tomorrow against Averett University in Danville, VA at 2pm [Box2]
