Game 2

Amber Ralston continued to pitch in the second game, but Coach Shelton made a switch in the 2nd inning by putting in Christie Hamilton to throw the rest of the game. The Yellow Jackets would score 14 runs in the first 3 innings of play, but in the top of the 4th, the Squirrel’s bats started to come out of hibernation a little bit. Casey Starry got on base with a lead-off walk so that Christie Hamilton could move the base runners and get on with a single. Karen Potter would get a hit for back to back plays to load the bases with no outs. Lacey Ogburn, who homered in the previous game, was looking to cause some damage. She waited for her pitch and knocked in a Grand Slam for the Squirrels!! The final score was 17-4. The Squirrels are right back home for more action tomorrow against Cazenovia at 2pm. [Box2]
