3/31 Tennis Rallies with Shenandoah on the Squirrel Courts

The Squirrels host the Hornets of Shenandoah on the Squirrel Courts today.

In opening doubles action the Squirrels took home the 3rd Doubles and kept the match very even going into the Singles play. Dasha Caron and Erica Gaughan won the doubles 8-4 for MBC.

The Singles action was close all the way to the end as Brianna Aviles took her match 6-1, 6-2 and was off the courts first for MBC. The Squirrels would have to wait to see how the match would be decided as #2 and #3 Singles lost, but #4, #5, and #6 Singles all went to three sets. After 4.5 hours of play, the Squirrels would lose 2-7.

The Squirrels are on the road vs Hollins tomorrow for a 4:30pm start in Hollins, VA. [Box]
