Volley Ball8/30 Volleyball Finishes at EMU

The MBC Volleyball team was unable to pick up any wins in the EMU tournament this weekend. The team finished the day with matches against University of Mary Washington and EMU.

The Squirrels struggled against a strong UMW team. The Squirrels did what they could, but only managed 4 kills in the contest. The final scores were 9-25, 10-25, 7-25.

In their final match of the tournament against host EMU, MBC recovered and began to compete well against a solid EMU squad. The Squirrels had their opportunities in games 1 and 3 but couldn't capitalize.

Anna Schueren had 16 assists 1 ace and 5 digs while hitting .571 in the contest. Roberts added 5 kills and 3 other players added 3 kills each. The final score of the contest was 23-25, 5-25, 21-25
