 11/01 Volleyball Drops 2 Matches in Closing Weekend.

The Squirrels traveled to Raleigh, NC to face the Pacers of Peace College and the Monarchs of Methodist University.

In the first match against Peace, the Squirrels got off to a slow start, but would battle hard and take the third set. The fourth set was fought down to the wire but the Squirrels wouldn't be able to force a 5th, losing 18-25, 22-25, 25-22, 20-25.

Kim Clum dished out 41 assists with 22 digs, Colena Roberts led the team in kills with 20, Carla Hill led the team in hitting percentage with .280 and had 10 kills with 16 digs.

Versus Methodist, the Squirrels would serve well, but wouldn't attack well enough to take a game losing 14-25, 19-25, 22-25.

Kara Jenkins had 12 digs to lead the team, Kim Clum had 21 assists and Anna Schueren led the team in kills with 7 and added 12 digs.
