11/3 Volleyball Ends Season vs Greensboro

The Squirrels put up a strong effort in the USA South Tournament against the #7 seed Greensboro Pride. MBC came out strong in the first set and took advantage of a few errors by Greensboro. The Squirrels won the first set off a kill by Melanie Updike. MBC would keep it close in the beginning of each set, but would allow too many runs by the Pride in each set. The Squirrels dropped the final match of the season 1-3

Two freshman middles led the attack for MBC, as Brittany Kindle and Melanie Updike both had 7 kills. Senior Anna Schueren added 6 kills, while Senior Kim Clum dished out 25 assists and Senior Carla Hill earned 21 digs. [Box]
