Carla Hill Hitting9/06 Competes well but falls at W&L

Volleyball fought hard today against Dickinson and Marietta today but couldn't get a win.

Against Dickinson the Squirrels improved their play but were unable to make some key plays in each game. Kim Clum had 16 assists and 12 digs, while Colena Roberts led the team with 7 Kills while Freshman Amanda Miller added 3 kills in the 21-25, 12-25, 15-25 loss.

The Squirrels regrouped in the second match of the day and competed hard against Marietta. The Squirrels were able to win a game but ran out of steam in game four. Colena Roberts contributed 11 kills, while Kim Clum dished 24 assists and Anna Schueren knocked in 6 kills with 14 digs in her performance. MBC lost in four games by the scores of 22-25, 20-25, 25-23, 10-25. The Squirrels are back in action on 9/11 for their season home opener vs Roanoke College at 7pm. [Box1] [Box2]
