The spacious and elegant Lyda B. Hunt Dining Hall, with its tall windows that offer remarkable views of Staunton and surrounding mountains, offers a variety of culinary options, including vegetarian selections at each meal. Lunch and dinner include a wide array of salads, homemade soups, desserts, fast food fare, made-to-order sandwiches, comfort foods, dishes that feature local ingredients, healthful choices, and a cook ‘n go station where students can cook a variety of foods for themselves.

Several on-campus gardens provide fresh vegetables and herbs for use in meals at the dining hall, and food waste is composted on site or donated to local farmers.

Each day’s menu is available online at http://www.dineoncampus.com/mbc/show.cfm?cmd=menus2.

Hunt Dining Hall is the primary dining venue at MBC and is designed as an eat-in venue. Students may also eat at the Ham & Jam Pub or get a Grab ‘n Go meal at the Nuthouse. All times and menus are up-to-date on the Dine on Campus site. The Nuthouse, located on the ground floor in Hunt Hall, is open for students to enjoy the WiFi-equipped lounge with TV and comfortable seating. The Nuthouse and the Ham & Jam Pub are designed to accommodate fast turn around and to-go packaging.

MBC Dining Services maintains high satisfaction scores among students, faculty, and staff, thanks to improvements in recent years to not only the food, but service and aesthetics as well.
