The spacious and elegant Lyda B. Hunt Dining Hall, with its tall windows and remarkable views of Staunton and surrounding mountains, offers a variety of culinary options, including vegetarian selections at each meal. Lunch and dinner include a wide array of salads, homemade soups, desserts, fast food fare, made-to-order sandwiches, comfort foods, dishes that feature local ingredients, healthful choices, and a cook ‘n go station where students can cook a variety of foods for themselves.

Hunt Dining Hall is the primary dining venue at MBC and is designed as an eat-in venue. When Hunt is closed between meals, students may eat at the Ham & Jam Pub, which is open Monday through Friday for lunch fro
m 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The Nuthouse, located on the ground floor in Hunt Hall, is open from 8 a.m. to midnight for students to enjoy the WiFi-equipped lounge with TV and comfortable seating. Grab ‘n Go meal service is provided on a limited basis Monday through Friday. The Nuthouse and the Ham & Jam Pub are designed to accommodate fast turn around and to-go packaging.
MBC Dining Services maintains high satisfaction scores among students, faculty, and staff, thanks to improvements in recent years to not only the food, but service and aesthetics as well.

SQuirrels NEST
New! Starting fall 2012, the Ham & Jam Pub will be home to the Squirrels Nest, a coffee shop and snack bar open Sunday through Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Come on in for coffee, snacks and light fare. Squirrels Nest is a non-board feature. Dining Dollars and cash accepted.
