| Description: | Immediate full-time position for Chief of Staff in the Commandant’s office of the Virginia Women’s Institute for Leadership (VWIL) program at Mary Baldwin College. The Chief of Staff position will report to the Commandant of the Corps of Cadets and duties will include: managing the Corps main office and assisting in female cadet leadership development. Cadet training involves protocol, occasional class instructions, drill and ceremonies instruction and advising cadet organizations. Additional duties include representing the Commandant when away for speaking engagements, recruiting, and taking reviews for parades. When necessary, the Chief of Staff will also be responsible for handling minor disciplinary actions for the Corps. Military uniform is required. Position requires weekend and evening hours. Effective communication skills, basic accounting and computer skills (Window XP) required. VWIL graduate preferred. |

| Description: | Mary Baldwin College’s MLitt/MFA program in Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature in Performance invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position to collaborate in the teaching and leadership of a rigorous masters program in the scholarship and performance of early modern drama. The successful candidate must demonstrate a significant contribution to his or her area of professional practice and its accompanying pedagogy. Area of specialty is open to all performance areas and/or history/theory. Responsibilities will include teaching acting, directing, or dramaturgy (depending on specialty) as well as supervising theses and participating in departmental activities. The Mlitt/MFA program operates in partnership with the American Shakespeare Center’s Blackfriars Playhouse. Review begins immediately and will continue until position is filled.
