Under the direction of the Case Manager & Program Coordinator, the student intern will complete various tasks to assist clients and staff of Foothills CAC. Responsibilities may include:
♦ Administering client satisfaction surveys with adults and post- interview surveys with children.
♦ Administering Multidisciplinary Team and board surveys.
♦ Getting consent forms signed.
♦ Entering data in the NCAtrak client database.
♦ Entering data in SPSS database.
♦ Querying and running reports on demographics and services in the NCAtrak client database.
♦ Writing FCAC evaluation report.
♦ Developing materials and maintaining a resource directory that will assist child victims and their families.
♦ Making referrals to community resources including but not limited to: food, clothing, medical, parenting, mental health evaluation and counseling, substance abuse programs, domestic violence programs, financial assistance.
♦ Assisting clients with filling out Victims of Crime Compensation assistance forms.
♦ Preparing for and participating in Multidisciplinary Team Case Review.
♦ Attending in-service training and specialized training on best-practices in the field of child maltreatment, case management services, cultural diversity, crisis intervention and trauma.
Required Education and Experience:
Student who is currently enrolled in a Masters program or 3rd or 4th year bachelors program in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work or other human studies program from an accredited college or university. Excellent computer skills.
