Summer Audit Intern for Fairfax County Public Schools
There are six temporary full-time positions available from Monday, June 17 through Friday, August 16, 2013. You must be able to work the full nine weeks. The interns will be assigned to assist in conducting school activity funds audits and other duties as necessary. Interns are required to provide their own transportation for in-county travel and mileage reimbursement will be provided. Applicant should be a rising college junior, senior, or recent graduate majoring in accounting or business.
Required Education and Experience:
Mandatory 2.0 g.p.a. overall with a 2.5 g.p.a. in major and successful completion of intermediate accounting courses. Work experience and/or education must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills. Computer skills required, specifically Excel 2007 and Word 2007. A demonstration of computer and communication skills will be required at the time of interview.
