Admissions Staff Assistant
Broome Community College is seeking a Staff Assistant in the Admissions Office to perform a variety of professional activites to facilitate recruitment, selection and yield of diverse students. The Staff Assistant ust have excellent oral and written communication skills and enjoy working as part of a recruitment team marketing BCC in a variety of venues.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or the equivalent combination of education and work experience. Additional training and education in the applicable administrative field is desirable. One year of experience working in an educational institution or in a related adminstrative function is desired Human services, marketting, or additionaql experience with any responsibilities of the position preferred. Familiarity with computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheet applications and experience with an information system for data entry and inquiry.
