Meeting at Pickett Craddock’s on 4/5/2014

Happy Spring! Nine of us “reunion planners” had such a great trip to PICKETT CRADDOCK’S bed and breakfast, Oak Grove Plantation, near South Boston VA in early April. Starting with a beautiful drive north – the red buds were gorgeous – it was a great weekend!  In addition to Pickett and me, others attending were JUNE EARLY Fraim, KAY EARLY Dougherty, JO AVERY, ADELE JEFFORDS Pope, JUDY HOFFMAN Roy, EMY MARTIN Halpert, and MEREDITH CARTER Patterson. We tried to send postcards to everyone! Have you gotten yours yet, and put the reunion on your 2015 calendar? The College devotes the first day, THURSDAY, April 9 to the 50th reunion class, and we have a special luncheon as well as a special dinner that night, with planned activities in the afternoon. So when you are doing your travel planning, do try to get there by noon on Thursday! Hotel information soon forthcoming!

Ann Mebane Levine is currently the Class Secretary for the Class of 1965. After 32 years of living and working in West Virginia (West Virginia University), Ann retired in 2004 and moved to Atlanta to be near family, and especially grandkids! She remains actively involved as a volunteer in grandchildren's schools, her church, The Carter Center, and as a leader in her "Senior University," a lifelong learning program for retired people at Mercer University in Atlanta.
