Communication
Communication at MBC offers a personal, hands-on approach to learning. The discipline places an emphasis on writing and speaking as well as visual and media literacy. Opportunities abound to mesh theory — classroom learning and text book reading — with practice. Students engage with media organizations, communication internships, and service learning projects in the Staunton community.
Students pursue a BA with a major in communication, choosing to emphasize either public or visual Communication. A minor in the discipline is available.
Communication is a part of MBC’s School of Social Sciences, Business, and Global Studies.
