Education, Health, and Social Work
At a Glance
With a wide range of majors and minors from which to choose, undergraduate students in the School of Education, Health, and Social Work earn either of Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Social Work.
Non-degree certificates in Health Care Management and Long-Term Care Administration, as well as Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Licensure are also available through the School. Students seeking graduate degrees in education are able to earn Master of Arts in Teaching or Master of Education degrees.
Mary Baldwin also offers students a five-year option that combines the Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Teaching, which allows them to be eligible for Virginia Teacher Licensure upon graduation.
Students within the School of Education, Health, and Social Work may pursue induction into the Kappa Delta Pi honor society for Education.
