Groundbreaking and Fundraiser
The Class of 2014 will hold a ceremonial groundbreaking at the corner of Frederick and North Coalter streets to mark the spot where it plans to build its class gift, a new sign for MBC. Seniors encourage supporters to dine downtown at Baja Bean after the ceremony, where 10 percent of dinner sales after 5 p.m. will go toward the effort. Groundbreaking, 4:15 p.m.

Book Talk and Signing
The Friends of the Augusta County Library are hosting a Book Talk followed by a signing with local author and MBC Mail Services Coordinator Billy Coffey. Come to discuss his novel, When Mockingbirds Sing, and enjoy light refreshments. Learn more about Coffey’s novels at 6:30 p.m., Augusta County Library, 1759 Jefferson Highway, Fishersville.
