Community Service Speaker Series: Activism

Sherry Stanley, an activist and organizer, and Emily Riehl from Virginia Organizing: Shenandoah Valley will offer their insight as part of the college’s Community Service Speaker Series, now in its eighth year. Each Wednesday, leaders from a wide range of non-profit, outreach, and human services organizations speak about the programs they represent, share why they have been called to get involved, and give students opportunities to volunteer in the community. 1 p.m., Miller Chapel, 110 N. Market Street.
