Relay for Life
Celebrate "A Decade of Fighting" with Colleges Against Cancer. The overnight event includes a survivors’ lap, luminaria ceremony, and fight-back ceremony. Begins at 6 p.m. on the track at the Physical Activities Center, 128 Tams St.

    > March 17
Wellness Walk
Grab a punch card and enjoy a day of fitness walking and shopping downtown during Staunton’s 7th Annual Wellness Walk. Walkers must receive punches from at least 10 stores on the route and return the card for a chance to win prizes. Sponsored by the MBC Physical and Health Education Department. Registration is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 25 W. Beverley Street. The event is free, but donations can be made to Women’s Health Virginia.   Ross > March 30
Former college football and NFL coach and Virginia Military Institute alumnus Robert J. "Bobby" Ross will be the guest speaker at this event that celebrates the inauguration of the Virginia Women’s Institute for Leadership (VWIL). Part of VWIL and Staunton Military Academy Reunion Weekend, the ball is open to the MBC community. 8–11 p.m., Stonewall Jackson Hotel, Staunton.
