Something Extraordinary

High school was a tumultuous time for me, as I struggled with moving from India to a new high school in Singapore. I knew the Program for the Exceptionally Gifted (PEG) at Mary Baldwin College was the right choice for me as it had always been my dream to study in the United States and do something extraordinary. PEG was it. I have grown dramatically in the last four years here — I have pushed my limits and explored opportunities that I never dreamed would be available to me. I have met inspirational people, learned new skills, and made life-long friends. I have pursued my passions in psychology and biology. I have worked with experienced professors on graduate-level research and attended conferences. I have been able to give back to the community while doing all of the above! PEG and MBC encouraged and motivated me to be the best person I can be. It’s an experience that I wouldn’t trade for the world!
