Each year, Mary Baldwin College alumnae/i, parents and friends have the opportunity to connect with today's students through the student phonathon. Throughout the school year, members of the Spencer Society Select call thousands of constituents to keep them up-to-date on the exciting things happening at MBC and to give them the opportunity to provide financial suport to the college.
Will you answer the call?
What is the mission of Spencer Society Select?
Spencer Society Select was established in honor of President Emeritus, Samuel Spencer, Jr. in 1995. Our mission is to spread Baldwin pride by raising friends and funds for Mary Baldwin College. We work hard to build strong, positive relationships with MBC alumnae/i, parents and friends. If you receive a call from a student, take the opportunity to find out how things have changed since you last visited campus!
Why does Mary Baldwin ask for support?
Net tuition dollars cover only about half of what it really
costs to operate MBC for an entire school year. The Annual Fund helps
to cover the remaining costs. Making phone calls offers a personal
touch between donors and current students.
For more information, please see the Annual Fund page or click here for more reasons to give!
Our Goal:
Thank you to all who answered the 2009-2010 phonathon call! We had our most successful phonathon year in MBC history!
From our callers to our donors: Thank YOU!
With YOUR help, we gave a big check to MBC for $175,000 in 2010!!
Did you miss your call this year?
Please update your record.
