E-Books at Grafton Library

NetLibrary Electronic Books

Grafton Library's NetLibrary eBook collection consists of more than 21,000 titles. These books can be accessed through the library catalog. Do a keyword search with your subect and netlibrary to see all the titles, for example Shakespeare and netlibrary. Click on the title you are interested in, then click on the URL to open the eBook.

In addition, all of the eBooks are currently accessible directly from NetLibrary, where you can search by subject or keyword, and from WorldCat (do a keyword search on netlibrary and limit to Items in My Library).

The first time you check out a NetLibrary book, you will need to create an account and choose a user name and password.  Once you reach the NetLibrary page, the link to create an account will be on the upper right side of your screen.  All NetLibrary books may be checked out for four (4) hours.  After 4 hours, the eBook will then be checked in automatically.  If the eBook has not been requested by another patron, you will have the option of checking it out again immediately.  You may also browse the eBook without checking it out.

Some of the publishers of these eBooks include McGraw Hill Professional, John Wiley, Blackwell Publishers, Kluwer Academic, Oxford University Press, Routledge, University of North Carolina Press, University of South Carolina, University Press of Florida, University press of Kentucky, and the University Press of Mississippi.
