MBC alumnae/i and faculty emeritae/i are also eligible to check out material from the library. Alumnae/i may check out general and bestseller books, while emeriti may check out books, reference, audiovisual and periodical material.
Other library service options:
MBC has cooperative library agreements allowing students to check out
materials from other libraries using an MBC I.D. The check out policies
of the lending institution apply.
Institutions supporting these agreements include:
- Blue Ridge Community College
- Bridgewater College
- Eastern Mennonite University
- Shenandoah University
- Washington and Lee University
In addition, ADP students at PVCC, Roanoke, and Hampton may use the libraries
associated with these regional centers.
All MBC students may check out books from the Staunton Public Library
with their MBC ID.
Most of the community colleges and public universities in Virginia
extend borrowing and use privileges to all citizens of the Commonwealth. Use
of electronic material may be restricted to currently enrolled students,
but general use of the library and photocopy services on site is allowed.
If you are a current Virginia public library user, you may use your
public library number to access resources at http://www.finditva.com
