How do I search for materials in other libraries?

If you can't find what you need in the Grafton Library catalog use WorldCat to find books, movies, recordings, etc. owned by other libraries. Below is a sample search screen. Worldcat has more search and limit options because it searches thousands of libraries.

If you find a book in WorldCat that is not owned by Grafton library you may place an Interlibrary Loan, or ILL, request. The ILL button looks like this: Interlibrary Loan.

The "Availability" section of a detailed record in Worldcat tells you which libraries own the title you want. If one of our cooperative lending libraries owns this title, you can avoid the small delay of Interlibrary Loan and check the item out from one of our partners.
