International Student Application Procedure Checklist

There is no formal deadline for submitting an application, but it
is recommended that you apply before May 1 in order to allow enough
time to get a visa. Your file of credentials will be reviewed when
it is complete and you will be notified of our decision within two
weeks.
You will need to submit the following items:
- Application Form
- Counselor Recommendation
The following documents are required by the Department of
Homeland Security (DHS):
- Certification of Finances Form - Print
Version (A signed copy of this form must be sent to the Mary
Baldwin International Admissions Office.)
- Official transcripts of all high school and college/university work and any educational certificates or diplomas you
may have. These must be accompanied by English translations.
- Official English translations of all documents that
are required for the admissions process. These documents include
transcripts, diplomas, bank statements, verification of income, and
recommendation form.
- Official, descriptive explanation of the grading scale used
to compute high school and/or college work (For example, at Mary
Baldwin College, a grade of A=4.0, B=3.0, C=2.0, D=1.0; at some schools,
A=10-8, B=7-6, C=5, D=4.3.)
