Student Activities organizes student events and coordinates the many student clubs and organizations on campus, including the Student Government Association. Joining a student organization is a great way to meet other students who share your interests!

Beyond academics, life at Mary Baldwin College is enriched by involvement in a variety of clubs, organizations, and athletics.
International students often join:
- Cosmos International Club, which organizes an annual international festival held each spring,
- CGIU: Changemakers for Women,
- Latinas Unidas,
- many other student organizations
- Or, students may create a new organization with a group of like-minded students!

Physical Activities Center (PAC) is a 40,000 square-foot facility that includes:
- Gymnasium with 6 basketball goals, 2 volleyball courts, a running area around the courts (17.5 laps make a mile). Volleyballs and basketballs are available at the front desk.
- Women’s and Men’s Locker Rooms with lockers and shower facilities are both located on the first floor. Locks may be checked out at the front desk.
- 4 Racquetball Courts: To reserve a court (1 hour at a time):
- call the PAC at 887-7295 at least 24 hours in advance
- please have your ID card # available
- Racquets, goggles, and balls are available at the front desk.
- Aerobic/Weight Room – This room contains aerobic equipment, including treadmills, elliptical trainers, recumbent cycles, and spinning cycles. The room also contains a weight station and free weights. To use the equipment you must receive instruction from a staff member on duty and fill out a waiver form. The room is also equipped with televisions and a music system.
- Dance and Fencing Studio
- Outdoor Track
Recreational Aerobics and Yoga
Aerobics and Yoga classes are offered weekly at no charge and for no credit. Call the PAC for more information about being involved in these activities: ext. 7295.
Tennis Courts
There are 7 tennis courts located next to Tullidge Residence Hall. They are available for your use any time there is not a class, intercollegiate activity, or other event taking place. A key may be checked out and the lights can be turned on at night. Contact the PAC for more detailed information.

The career center provides services that foster learning about:

- life-enriching studies,
- career and life planning for MBC students
The Career Development Office of the Sena Center believes that career and graduate school choices influence the quality of life at college, in the home, at work, in the community, and in the larger world. In addition, the Center views career development as a holistic, life-long process, encompassing Mind, Body, and Character.
The Sena Center’s comprehensive career development program includes:
- graduate school assistance and GRE scheduling,

- occupational/vocational exploration,
- decision-making skills development,
- job search
