International Economics and Business
The international economics and business major prepares you for working in a global economy, giving you the knowledge to understand our current economic crisis and the skills to compete in a tight labor market. In today’s environment, you must combine theoretical analysis of global markets with practical application of tools of the trade. You will complete an internship in a transnational organization; a research project incorporating theoretical knowledge and application to a global industry; and a senior seminar reviewing cutting edge initiatives in the field.
Students can pursue a BA with a major in international economics and business.
International economics and business is a part of MBC’s School of Social Sciences, Business, and Global Studies and is available through the College for Women and Adult Degree Program in Staunton.
