Our Cover The hilltop site of the future Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences provided a dramatic backdrop for our evening cover photo shoot with MBC alumnae/i and students. Angela Gupta '12 and Sophia Stone '14 joined us from the Staunton campus just days before Gupta's Commencement; Adult Degree Program graduate Eric Dyer '09 traveled from Vinton, Virginia, where he is a physician assistant graduate student; and Jennifer Lordan Milby '99 drove more than 2 ½ hours from her home and work as an occupational therapist to be part of the historic photo.

The largest graduating class in Mary Baldwin College history owned the stage during Commencement festivities in May. Following an inspiring call to action by Abigail Disney — granddaughter of the world-famous Walt and Roy Disney — just shy of 400 students earned bachelor's and master's degrees under a cloudless spring sky.
