MASTER OF EDUCATION PROGRAM
For more than a quarter of a century, Mary Baldwin has been a leader in gifted education. With the innovativeProgram for the Exceptionally Gifted (PEG), we have been preparing intellectually talented girls to become leaders in a variety of professional fields. The MEd continues this tradition by preparing excellent teachers to work with gifted students in the K12 public and private schools of Virginia. This MEd option affords certified teachers the opportunity to add on endorsement for Gifted Education by completing the following 34 semester hours of course work:

**Complete a 45-hour practicum, which will be supervised by the program or one year of successful, full-time teaching experience in a gifted program in an accredited school may be accepted in lieu of the practicum.
