Two popular events that debuted in 2011 return this year as alumnae/i from class years ending in twos and sevens come back to campus this week to celebrate Reunion.
In addition to the dinners, presentations, and tours of campus, there are three chances to explore the surprising and varied selection of wares made and/or marketed by alumnae/i at “How Bazaar Two: Alumnae/i Arts and Crafts Fair” in the Lyda B. Hunt Dining Hall. The showcase is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and again from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Check out the handbags of Sonali Birla ’94, the handmade books of Blanche Anderson ’72, and the jewelry of Brecken Geiman ’07, among other fabulous goods.
Staunton has changed a lot over the years, and the Staunton Punch Crawl is the perfect way to explore the evolving tastes of the city. Last year’s event was a huge success and this year will include new restaurants. All information is included in registration packets.
