At a recent reception honoring all student employees, Myriell “Mia” Tyler ’13 was named Mary Baldwin College’s Student Employee of the Year for 2012.
Tyler is one of about 350 students on the college’s employment roster, which includes federal work study, non-need work study, MBC Changemaker, and resident advisor positions. She is an office assistant for the Adult Degree Program (ADP) office.
“Mia is a young woman of excellence, who always brings her best to her work at the ADP House,” said Debra Bibens, director of ADP operations and Tyler’s supervisor. “She has proven herself to always be the consummate professional with the highest work ethic, producing quality work in every situation. Mia embodies the MBC motto of ‘confident, compassionate, changemaker.’ She is truly an integral part of our professional team.”
