Lowell Lemons Lowell Lemons, professor of education

The graduation address, “All I Needed to Know I Learned at Galax High School,” Galax High School, May 25. He was a 1967 graduate of Galax High School and his mother and grandmother were career teachers in the Galax school system.

Steve Mosher Steve Mosher, professor of Health Care Administration

Attended the annual meeting of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA), Minneapolis, MN. As part of the undergraduate program certification process, he was the chair of the Texas Southern University Review Team and led that program’s review session and report on their self-study.
Part of a 17 member delegation of AUPHA faculty who participated in a tour of the Dutch health care system.

Elected to the board of directors of Legacy of North Augusta — an independent and assisted living community in Staunton.
