STANDARD EXTRON PLATE

To project from PC:

  1. Turn ON Display from Extron Plate
  2. Turn on PC
  3. Choose PC as input from Extron Plate
  4. Wait a minute
  5. Adjust Volume on Extron Plate

When finished:

  1. Turn off PC
  2. Turn projector OFF (Display OFF)

To project from Laptop:

  1. Turn ON Display from Extron Plate
  2. Turn on Doc Cam (Press or slide Power Button)
  3. Turn on Laptop
  4. Plug Laptop Video cable into VGA output on Laptop
  5. Plug Laptop Audio cable into Headphones plug on Laptop
  6. Choose Laptop/Doc Cam as input on Extron plate
  7. Adjust Volume
  8. Press CCD/PC/PC2 button until it turns red.

When finished:

  1. Turn projector OFF (Display OFF)
  2. Turn off Doc Cam
  3. Unplug and Turn off Laptop

 To display image from the Document Camera:

  1. Turn ON Display from Extron Plate
  2. Turn on Doc Cam (Press or slide Power Button)
  3. Choose Laptop/Doc Cam as input
  4. Wait a few seconds
  5. Press the CCD/PC/PC2 button on the Doc Cam until it turns blue.

When finished:

  1. Turn off Doc Cam
  2. Turn projector OFF (Display OFF)

To project from DVD or VCR:

  1. Turn ON Display from Extron Plate
  2. Turn on DVD/VCR Player (Press Power Button)
  3. Put in Video or DVD. Choose “Video” or “DVD” with the button on the player.
  4. Choose DVD/VCR as input from Extron Plate
  5. Adjust Volume

When finished:

  1. Don’t forget to remove your tape or disc!
  2. Turn off DVD/VCR Player
  3. Turn projector OFF (Display OFF)

 If the display doesn’t show the picture you want:

  1. Make sure the Blank On/Off isn’t illuminated or flashing. Press it if it is.
  2. If that wasn’t the problem, press the button for a different source, i.e. press “DVD/VCR” if the “PC” image isn’t showing. Wait until the picture changes to “DVD/VCR.”
  3. Press the button for the source you want. The picture should appear.
