SMART Board Projector:
Using the PC:
Boot up PC and log in with MBC ID and Network Password
Turn on Projector with SMART Board Projector Remote
(If the picture does not come up, click on Source Search and the Projector will find the PC if it has booted up.)
Control the Volume from the PC speaker symbol in the lower right hand corner of the screen.
When finished, log off from the PC and turn the Projector off by clicking on the Smartboard Projector remote orange Power switch twice. If you are the last class of the day please turn the PC and monitor off too.
Using the Document Camera on the Smartboard:
To use the Doc Cam on the SMART Board screen, Start SMART Notebook and click on the Doc Cam Icon.
When finished, turn the Doc Cam Off and turn the Projector off by clicking on the Smartboard Projector remote orange Power switch twice.
Pull Down Screen Projector:
To use the remote you may have to walk to the center of the platform and point the remote at the left side of the projector.
Using the Mac:
Turn on Mac. To access the MBC Network, click on Safari and type in www.mbc.edu
The MBC Network Authentication screen will come up. Sign in with your MBC ID and Network Password.
With your left hand extended, use the Pull Down Screen Projector Remote to turn on the projector. Click on Computer 1.
Control the Volume from the Pull Down Screen Projector Remote.
When finished, turn off the MAC and turn off the Projector with the by clicking the Power Off button twice on the Pull Down Screen Projector Remote.
Using the Doc Cam:
Turn the Doc Cam ON with the Big Round Power button.
With your left hand extended, use the Pull Down Screen Projector Remote to turn on the projector.
If the Doc Cam image is not showing on the screen, press the Doc Cam button.
Click on Computer 2.
When finished, turn off the Doc Cam with the Power Button and Turn off the Projector by clicking the Power Off button twice.
Using your Laptop:
Plug the cord labeled Laptop Video into the VGA Port of your Laptop. Plug the cord labeled Laptop Audio into the Headphone Jack of your Laptop. Boot up the Laptop.
With your left hand extended, use the Pull Down Screen Projector Remote to turn on the projector. Click on Computer 2.
On the Doc Cam, click on the Laptop button.
Control the Volume from the Pull Down Screen Projector Remote.
When finished, turn off laptop, turn off Doc Cam and turn off Projector by clicking the Power Off button twice.
Using the DVD/VCR
Turn on the DVD/VCR.
With your left hand extended, use the Pull Down Screen Projector Remote to turn on the projector. Click on Video.
When finished, turn off the DVD/VCR and turn off Projector by clicking the Power Off button twice.
